recorded, mixed, mastered by Jack Langdon

recording
less than you remember was my first album of organ music, recorded in the Fall of 2021 in Hanover, New Hampshire on the organ of The Church of Christ at Dartmouth College. This instrument was my regular practice instrument since my studies with Diane Meredith Belcher began in the Fall of 2019 and it’s unique character and capabilities were well familiar to me. The instrument (Orgues Létourneau, Op. 83) was a prominent musical fixture in my pandemic era work and this recording was the distillation of several years of isolated, improvisational development.

The record was released on friend and interlocutor Kory Reeder’s label Sawyer Editions. It was amongst the first batch of releases and proved to be a pivotal turning point in my own work as an organist.
